APPOINTMENTS

Dr. Joseph Pflanzer is a Board Certified Allergist. Originally from New York City, he earned his medical degree from the Catholic University of Louvain Medical School in Belgium. Postgraduate education included an internship at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Montreal Children’s Hospital in Montreal, Canada. His pediatric residency was performed at the Brookdale Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York, and his Allergy Residency was performed at the renowned Roosevelt Hospital Allergy Institute in New York City. Dr. Pflanzer speaks several languages including French, German, Italian and English of course!

Appointment Scheduling:

Appointments will be made by phone, during office business hours, or you may schedule it online using ZOCDOC. Please make sure you are antihistamine free five days prior to making your new patient appointment on ZOCDOC. You can find a list of restricted antihistamines under the testing tab. Our goal is to see you within 30 minutes of your arrival. We request you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment so that you can complete the required paperwork.

Appointment Cancellations:

When you schedule an appointment, that time slot is made unavailable to any other person. Some other practices overbook to accommodate “no shows,” which can create delays for patients who arrive as planned. Our office doesn’t believe in this practice, which is why any “no shows” or sudden cancellations are subject to the following fees: new patients: $50, existing patients: $25.
